"Music has started, violence has stopped"

“The video clip of ‘We could be the same’ sung by maNga, the entry for Turkey in the 55th Eurovision Song contest, can now be seen on the internet and television.

The video was directed by the successful director Gürcan Keltek in the Kasımpaşa Camialtı Naval Docks. maNga performed the song while a crowded cast crew and the fans of maNga took role in the video. Some of the fans joined the clip outside Istanbul.

The song states that “we can be the same” and the music video emphasizes the end of violence with manga’s performance starting. The video was broadcasted on Eurovision’s internet site and got positive reviews from both Turkish and foreign viewers." (http://www.manga.web.tr/)

"Music has started, violence has stopped" says the band's official website. The video, which was recently released to the public, received very good comments from the critics: maNga wanted to communicate with the people all around the world through their song. "We could be the same" highlights an universal message, which says "STOP the violence!" Its members tried to express as clearly as possible their intention of helping the people to reconsider their actions and to be better.
